This was a thing that started over in London not too long ago called the "Tyre Extinguishers" that were going around deflating tires on SUV in the city - and putting little B.S. cards on the vehicles explaining they did it cause those vehicles don't belong in a city and the environment blahblahblah.
I think the slid into shadows cause I read somewhere they deflated the tires one a couple vehicles that were used to transport the disabled/elderly/injured and the backlash was pretty good.
Funny how many of the dildos who do this stuff, or support it - don't realize that tires aren't meant to be deflated when on a vehicle and prolonged sitting like that damages the tires. So lets say Dick and Jane go out of town for a couple weeks, and wannabe Captain Planet deflates a tire or two and it sits for 13 or 14 days till Dick and Jane get home - they reinflate not thinking anything of it - load their 4 kids, two dogs, cat, emu, and grandma dearest into the thing and have a blowout due to the damaged tire @ 75mph on the freeway resulting in a roll over and serious injury or death (face it, granny was pretty frail....)
But like most "vigilante" activism - the people perpetuating it are too dumb to do anything actually smart, and probably are just doing it for the instagram likes and support anyway.
