Using the definition of "genius" as "somebody who agrees with me"...smithers599 said:We are programmed to believe that wars are between good guys and bad guys. In truth, they usually are between bad guys and worse guys. World War II was essentially a war between Stalin and Hitler. We joined Stalin's side. Some ally!
In this case, Russia is certainly the bad guy, and we should be supporting Ukraine, but Ukraine is no angel. From the (brilliant) PR that we see on TV, the Ukrainian people are splendid, but then, so are most of the Russian people. It's the governments that are corrupt. (Does that sound like the US?)

UKRAINE
Good grief. Where to start?
Let me begin with this. In the geopolitical power struggle that has moved from being covert to overt there are no good guys vs bad guys. They’re all sociopaths of differing stripes. It’s the crips and the bloods writ large. Each gang will run their own propaganda and battle for minds. Don’t be fooled. They’re all thugs.
