Russia is doing their best to block internet access out of Ukraine so that they can control the narrative of how the conflict is going.

While nobody expects the Russians to lose, neither does Russia want the world to see them take any casualties or Ukraine putting up any kind of effective resistance.

So video coming out that is not filtered by Russia is not much. Anything showing Russian casualties or Ukrainian victory if blocked is Russia has anything to say about it.

Various videos of captured Russian soldiers being forced to denounce their invasion and footage of wiped out Russian vehicles and tanks are slowly leaking out. Here is one of a KA50 assault helo being shot down over Kiev and crashing into a lake and the pilot parachuting into the water being captured.

Supposedly Putin has called up the Chechen divisions for the upcoming occupation. It is theorized that Russians will withdraw as they conquer territories, to be supplanted and replaced by the Chechen units for occupation duty.

This helps Putin in 2 ways. The fewer "real Russians" die as a result of this, the less blowback he has at home among the Russian people. Also, he hopes to pit the ethnic differences between the heavily Christian Ukrainian population and culture against the primarily Muslim Chechens, taking advantage of the lack of similarity between the two to prevent the occupiers having any capacity for sympathy.
