Tomorrow at 5pm Eastern, the Senate will receive an unclassified briefing on the Ukraine invasion.

Keep in mind that this is now an opportunity for Democrats,...who know full well they are scheduled to get their ass handed to them in the mid-term elections,...to use the Ukraine war as a cause to blame the economic woes of their President and to distract the nation from his and their failings. Expect Congress to be much more amenable than usually to agree to some sort of limited war in response to Russia's aggression.

This would also grant emergency war powers that the Democrats lust for and would make the recent Canadian Nazi kerfuffle look tame and restrained by comparison.

Lots of nervous bad interpretation of imagery coming out of Ukraine as day breaks.


Lots of anti-aircraft flak in the sky, producing white puffs. Inexperienced on the ground interpreting the little white dots in the sky as parachutes and alarm of paratroopers has gone wildfire,...even though none have yet been encountered on the ground and they simply don't jump from that high.

Seems earlier bombardments of all airports was designed to impede western allies from landing support craft.
