That's close to 358 per 1k. There's no free shipping. So I can find 556 for 235 per 1k now thats 3290 for 14000. So they are really charging 1710 for shipping and the only packaging is a drum.

But where are you finding 5.56 for $235/thousand? And is it good stuff, or steel cased crap?

At the last gun show in Phoenix I found the 55gr Fmj for 235 per 1 k. Brass cased. I picked up 1k and ran it in my AR's no problem.

I misread the brownells add. Rounded up instead of down so heres the particulars.

The drum is supposedly around 2 feet tall 20 inch diameter . So not a 55 or 30 gallon drum. Iirc that's 15 gallon drum
