Twitter, will you join or go back after Elon

I had/have a twitter account. I say have or had because I last used it ages ago. I certainly dont remember my account or password. It was a fun way to communicate with my Daughter who lives in Penn. She was younger and we would share stories that we would each contribute pieces to on a daily basis.

Once I expanded outside of just communicating with my daughter I found twitter to be a BIASED cesspool and bailed. I tried Parler but being in an echo chamber was no fun.

I didnt want a new place that cloistered away right leaning people .. I wanted a place to discuss things with all people .. even the ones I disagree with and the ones who disagree with me. I want to see and discuss all opinions.

So with Elon taking over and moderation supposedly not being biased .. I am considering going back. If your not a member or like me havent visited in forever are you considering it under new leadership.

I never had a Twitter account until a few months ago. I knew of it's flaws and bias and had no use for it, so I never bothered.

What changed for me was wanting to be able to check on the latest live updates from the front in Ukraine. I discovered that, for whatever reason it started this way, many Russians and Ukrainians love crossposting on Telegram, VK and Twitter. Even individual soldiers on both sides, even while in the field on operations, would post unfiltered and unedited opinions, photos and video. Plenty of European military intel weenies were constantly collecting this treasure trove and doing analysis. I was amazed to find Twitter was in this way providing raw news that had not yet been spun by either side, and was doing so sometimes days before mainstream media was doing so.

That is the only thing I use Twitter for. I don't try to communicate with friends on there or follow any personalities or groups. Twitter, unfortunately, uses similar algorithms like Facebook to always try and distract me to look at other things it thinks I might be interested in. If one of the random posts they throw my way has a cute puppy and I select it out of curiosity, next thing I know Twitter is trying to throw more puppy postings at me. I like puppies, but damn it, stop that!

But,...if it truly changes under Musk and 2nd Amendment types can freely do on there as they please, like it used to be on Facebook,...I suppose I might expand my interaction there. For now, it just a limited news feed for me. If the war in Ukraine stopped tomorrow, I'd probably stop using Twitter immediately.

Elon is not our friend, if anyone even remember his tesla was bailed by the feds when it was going bankrupt, so he's owned. He's more like a controlled opposition like Fox.

And yes he is reinstating Trump's account, but NOT Alex Jones'... I WONDER WHY?

Him playing "middle" ground is BS, it's only to stop people from going to alternative social media like Truth Social, Parler, Gab, Rumble, etc.

Trump already announced a long time ago that he is not going back to twatter. And majority of people should do the same.

Twitter is bigger than all the above listed. Trump has 86 million followers on Twitter (within 12 hours of reinstatement) and only 4.6 million on truth. He could possibly use this next run to build truth but twitter is where it’s at. He needs the bird

1. Trump definitely did more to make America great than other Presidents like Bush,Carter, Obummer, and Pedo joe combined

2. Alex Jones has "predicted" many of the things that happened and are happening now. My guesstimate is he is 97% accurate, (his worst nightmare is sandy hook, I can't think of anything else) better than fake news media. he's not really predicting, but he is "relaying" the message to us by reading the globalist's books, whoever they are.

3. Yes i get it, twatter is a big platform, I have to agree with you there, but it also stops people from going to other platforms. Many people are lazy, or somewhat fed up, or just can't be bothered to register with another platform again.
