That statement generally results in a split vote for “conservatives”, giving indies the “right” to-
a) say “I told you so” about the evils of the libs

I believe that is accurate, which means she is highly trained in psychological manipulation. If she has truly changed her positions she can serve by supporting conservative candidates. She doesn’t need to be elected to bring about change.
