This has been a problem nobody wanted to touch for a long time. We create so much technology, we just let foreigners come here and learn how to make it then compete against us in the world market. How about we not let any foreign students or nationals have access to any of this technology?

For universities they are pay dirt because they are focused and driven and not partying.

A great deal of the research and new technology developed in the United States is done by Chinese and Indian Graduate students many who choose to remain in the United States.

American Universities in the chase for these students and their money have drastically upped their educational offerings, Quality of labs and Professors which benefits American Students.

In the end .. sure .. they are taking back home things they learn here in the United States .. specifically research methods that are helping China build a super power Education system but they probably give more in Money and Intellectual property to the United states than they walk away with.

Meanwhile Many American Students are spending their time on Transgender rights and chasing out speakers they don't want to hear and skipping classes in protest.

Sure .. like roaches, if you found 15 spys that means there are 50 ..... Chase the spies and leave these often brilliant driven students to keep contributing money and brain power to the USA.

The Chinese immigrants I know are the kind of immigrants we actually want: intelligent, hard-working, friendly, good neighbors, speak English, and proud to fly the American flag and stand and sing the Star Spangled Banner. Their kids play in the school band and play Little League baseball and Pop Warner football. One 10-year-old neighbor kid plays I-9 basketball. He is the smallest kid on the team, but the one that hustles most; plays his heart out. Mother is in the PTO; father volunteers to coach the grade school chess team. They came here to be Americans, not Chinese-Americans.

I had a similar experience with people from Guyana. When I lived in Queens they came in droves and many in the neighborhood that was predominantly Irish Italian resented it. I found it funny because they had more in common than not. I worked with them and hired them as employees and they worked like no ones business, they never whined and were talented craftsmen. If I called for a Saturday they showed up and I didn't have to listen to stories about domestic abuse or drunkenness or other crap. They loved this country and were happy to be here.

I became friends with some and they were strong families with strong values. They lived modestly in order to buy homes and quickly started their own businesses. I had a BBQ and invited some of my Guyanese friends and they came with Grandparents and kids. I thought it was awesome.

I am pro immigration .. I just think as a sovereign nation we get to pick who comes and who stays and we make the rules but when I think "American" I don't think skin color or feature differences .. I think about the rough ass individualists who made the country great. I think of a certain sense of honor and a desire for the ability to pave your own way and maybe some personal stubborn pride.

While there are shit heals in all groups .. I think the Chinese immigrants as well as many of the others make us better and some need to be turned away.

Funny true story .. when my wife worked at a not for profit in NY once a month they had a community meeting in a mostly Chinese area. The Chinese folk in the room, recent immigrants, were speaking English to my wife and other people in the room. One of the people who showed up was there trying to sell the Chinese on welfare and other handouts. Suddenly .. no one knew English!

The Person pushing the handouts lamented to my wife how "these" people aren't taking advantage of the Free stuff they should be making use of. She didnt understand that they would rather live 15 in a room and make their own way.

Some of you are thinking these Students are the same as immigrants, and they are not. They are only coming here for college and then going home.

If you are curious as to the numbers just go walk around ASU or one of major community colleges like Mesa CC(Southern & Dobson campus).

At the hospital I work at they have ASU students doing research work. I found a cigarette lighter with a picture of Mao on it in one of the desks.
F*** them!
There should be in state tuition, out of state tuition, and also a much higher out of country tuition.
