Symbolic gesture at best. The UN Small Arms Treaty was signed but never ratified. Which means it never had any application to American government or law.
Trump might be better than Hillary but you are naive if you think Trump is a friend of gun owners.

That un-ratified Treaty would hang over American citizens heads though and if the Dems ever controlled both Houses the hammer could have fallen.

Trump isn't the best friend gun owners ever had but he has done more to secure those rights due to SCOTUS appointments then any President in recent history. Along with his exposure of the Left's hypocrisy and true intentions.

A lot of the things hes done that have potential to help us (SCOTUS and other judges) is a side effect of his viewpoints. Most conservative judges are also marginally pro gun.

SCOTUS appointments are the most important thing a modern President can do. Lookng forward to Trump getting several more.

I am not into "suppressors", so, it really isn't fair for me to give an opinion, but, I will state that Europe has a better, more sane approach, to hearing protection devices than we do. We have the extreme left Demonscat Hollywood freaks promoting suppressors as a criminal tool, which lines up all the lemming Demonscat politicians to pass legislation to try and make themselves feel safer,... just simple mass paranoia at its best,... imo.

As to the question at hand,... I believe the Demoscats have already gone after suppressors,... and got them,.... kind of a moot question, imo.
