I despise littering. Maybe it's the old grainy LARRY LITTER videos they use to show in grade school. I was picking up trash in Redington and some nice fella left several Amazon boxes among his other shooting trash. Some research said it's pretty unlikely dude would get in trouble since you can't prove he was the one who left it. I thought about returning it to him. Found him on Facebook and googled his addy full stalker mode. He's a jeep and gun guy. Ended up realizing it wasn't really worth the poop-storm I was potentially creating. Probably would have left the whole bag on his hood 10 years ago. Not sure if age brings wisdom, or apathy.

It is only a felony if you leave >=300 pounds. That strikes me as a lot of trash to leave behind from camping or hunting. Unless I am misreading it.

. A class 6 felony if the act is a knowing violation of subsection A in which the amount of litter or other prohibited material or substance exceeds three hundred pounds in weight or one hundred cubic feet in volume or is done in any quantity for a commercial purpose.
