Town of Republic, Wash. considering 2nd Am Sanctuary City Status

Town of 1100 sheriff stated he won't enforce new state laws with heavy restrictions on gun owners. Mayor considering making the town a sanctuary city for gun owners to protect their 2nd Amendment rights.

Republic, Washington is about 150 yards from the middle of nowhere. Still, it's a start.
It would make a good TV series. Here come the state police and National Guard trying to arrest the scofflaws. Hijinks ensue.
