Yeah, I know, wait for the heat to hit to decide it’s time.
Not in any hurry, but our old unit just isn’t cutting it any more, so I’m researching new units.

Along those lines, anyone have a referral for a reputable and trusted AC company that’ll do work in the Florence area?

everyone in Ajo is going with mini-splits, just be careful of the ones coming up from across the line.

the boxes say 220v, but the wiring inside is inferior in many of them that we see

I used prosolutions for their warranty and got a Lennox variable speed and haven't had any issues. They also matched my cheapest quote I got so I saved and got the best warranty

yeah, had to bite the bullet a couple weeks ago, 21 year old unit gave up the ghost, had a new 5 ton 16 seer put on, works pretty good, see what it does for the power bill

putting a 2 ton and 1 ton mini split on the new shop, see what that does
happy sunday

Replaced an 19 year old 3.5 ton 14 SEER with a 3.5 ton 16 SEER from Hendel's a year ago.

SRP bill dropped $45.00/month. We're on an even payment plan as that's what Mrs. Flash wanted, so it's every month.

Thank you all for your replies, whether here or via PM.
I’ve now got a few quotes going to come in over then next few days, and hopefully we’ll be chillin’ rather quickly.
Special thanks to AC GUY for taking time on Father’s Day to educate me.

Reyna AC. I had AC unit go out a few years back and from time of call to time of install was 24 hours. They can give you an estimate over the phone if you provide some info about your current unit and a proper quote once they come out.
