So with the black plague firearm buying panic going on there are now lots and lots of first time gun owners out there, is this a good thing or a bad thing (glass half full or half empty)?
I can see both sides
On the positive side: At least some of those people are not going to want their gun rights taken away, and any new recruits to shooting sports are a good thing. In addition there should be some sweet deals on lightly used firearms in about a year.
On the negative side: More assholes that have no idea what safe handling or storage of a firearm is.
