I have an update on our fight to nuke the NFA.

The parliamentarian now says reducing the $200 tax on suppressors and short-barreled weapons to zero is allowed.

But we’re fighting for full deregulation.

GOP Senate leaders can and must override the parliamentarian and force a vote on the original pro-gun language.

You can click here to send our pro-gun message to key staffers for Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and President Pro-Tempore Chuck Grassley at the same time.

If that link doesn’t work for you simply copy and send the message below to these addresses:

Dear Senator,

As a pro-gun voter, I urge you to fight for more than a mere reduction of the NFA tax.

Gun owners deserve the full pro-gun language from the original Senate bill — including full deregulation of suppressors and short-barreled firearms.

The parliamentarian’s ruling isn’t binding. You can and must override it before sending the full bill to President Trump’s desk.

The National Association for Gun Rights will keep me informed of your actions.

Please also consider a quick chipping in to help us keep the pressure on.

Then read our full update below.

Dear

A political circus is playing out in Washington — and the restoration of your Second Amendment rights are on the chopping block.

As President Trump just said last night:

“An unelected Senate staffer (parliamentarian) should not be allowed to hurt the Republicans bill. Wants many fantastic things out. NO!”
Time is of the essence, so before you read on please help us fight back right away.

Call these Republican leaders in the Senate and demand they OVERRULE the parliamentarian and restore all pro-gun provisions in the bill:

  • Sen. John Thune: (202) 224-2321
  • Sen. John Barrasso: (202) 224-6441
  • Sen. Mike Crapo: (202) 224-6142
  • Sen. Chuck Grassley: (202) 224-3744
Tell them:
“Ignore the parliamentarian’s bogus ruling and stand firm. RESTORE the pro-gun language to deregulate suppressors and short barreled weapons.. Don’t cave to procedural tricks.”
Here’s the situation we’re facing down.

Late last week, the unelected Senate Parliamentarian — a holdover appointee of the late anti-gun Senator Harry Reid — ruled to strip critical pro-gun provisions from the “Big Beautiful” reconciliation bill in the middle of the night.

Yes, you read that right, Harry Reid is still defending unconstitutional gun control from beyond the grave, channeling a bureaucrat no one voted for.

But here’s the good news: her ruling is NOT binding. There’s a major opportunity to save this historic pro-gun language — if Republican leadership will stand their ground and do what’s right. These provisions would:

  • Eliminate the $200 tax on suppressors
  • Deregulate short-barreled rifles and shotguns
  • Stop states from enforcing bogus NFA-style restrictions
And contrary to what the parliamentarian claims, these are absolutely budget-related.

In fact, gun control supporters have defended the National Firearms Act for decades by saying it’s a tax issue! Now, suddenly, they want to pretend it isn’t?

This ruling is 100% political — and Democrats aren’t even hiding it. They’re bragging all over social media about convincing the parliamentarian to kill the pro-gun parts of the bill.

Senate leaders have ignored parliamentarian rulings in the past. They’ve even fired them.

It’s time to fight back and do the same here.

Gun owners have waited over 90 years for a chance like this.

The clock is ticking — and your action today could mean the difference between victory or another decade of unconstitutional taxes and gun control.

So call the Republican Senate Leaders right away, and DEMAND they fight back.

  • Sen. John Barrasso: (202) 224-6441
  • Sen. Mike Crapo: (202) 224-6142
  • Sen. Chuck Grassley: (202) 224-3744
