Ever since our favorite online persona took their forced leave of absence I’ve noticed a few other armatures stepping up to fill the gap.

Is this an AZS phenomenon? Is there just always some self righteous just waiting in the wings for their turn to be the self appointed moderator on this site?

I find it hilarious and I’m sure my co-workers enjoy hearing me giggle on the shitter.

Look, Accountant could be maddening, and I didn't always like him either. But he was/is a real dude and actually a true 2nd Amendment guy. So he had some different politics than you or I. Big Phuking Deal. I actually welcome folks like him keeping me sharp and challenging what I think and believe. I don't fear that. And yeah, I feel the same way about Clyde here. Who cares if he rubs you the wrong way a few times (or even every time)? If he in challenging your ideas or principles offends you, consider it a healthy "stress test" of those beliefs.

As tempting as it might be to wish everyone believed exactly the same way, that's actually approaching the territory of the enemy. And we know how disgusting THEY are.

At the risk of sounding all Kumbaya and liberal (yuck), we should each try to appreciate our brothers here who we are tempted to fight with.
