If Buddy Holly hadn't been killed, IMO he would have been the King of Rock 'n Roll, not Elvis.

That plane crash took some talented people.
I remember riding around in my old pickup with either Buddy Holley or Chuck Berry playing on the 8 track.

The outcome could have been different for a couple of them.
Waylon Jennings swapped his place on the plane to Richardson because " The Big Bopper " had the flu.
Tommy Allsup last his seat to Richie Valence on a coin toss.

Waylon Jennings and Tommy Allsup ended up as great country stars and two of my favorites.
