I imagine if you're into gun sht, you're into other mechanical things.

I know a few of you have some hot rods.. I know a fella on here has a pretty hot turbo LS powered Mustang.

Me, I have a sickness. I can't drive anything stock powered. The day it hits the driveway I'm ordering speed parts for it. Or, if it's 4x4, a cage, suspension, ect..

My current stable is ;
'04 GMC Duramax. Crewcab 4x4. WAY too much money in it. Last time down the strip did 13.0 but roasted the tires at the tree. I dyno'd it once. Did 588hp/~1200tq to the wheel. No calculated Bullsht plug in tuner numbers. WHEEL NUMBERS. The dyno was slippery that day. Didn't hook on the rollers for sht...Huge turbo, built trans, fuel stuff...currently under the knife for fuel system upgrades. And, it's my tow rig. I used to tow a 37' GN toyhauler to the dunes and back with the tune set to KILL.

Next up is my somewhat daily..
'07 Trailblazer SS. Bored/stroked LS2 to 402ci. BTR Stg3 cam. Long tube headers. No cats, big injectors.. Goes by Kruzyn.

Pretty sure I've posted about my XJ.
'87 2 door Jeep XJ. 6" Long arm kit. Some upgrades to newer trans/t-case. Full tan bedliner body color. Goes by Napalm

And the closest thing I have to factory...'00 Civic. Just my burner..

Whatchya' got? Let's hear about it. Even if it's a modern hopped up V8 sedan that is somehow slower than the anchor of the Titanic...

Oh, and my pretty f'n fast Diesel truck won't even come close to touching the speed of my SS...

No speedsters here but did pick up a cement colored Tundra a couple months ago. Wanted more towing power over the Tacoma.
Shocks have been ordered for it.

normal chiat, 07 crew duramax diesel, screams for sure

2000tj rock crawler, tricked out, over 89k miles off road only since, new, trailer queen six months after buying, usual shiat, 6''' long arm, 4.1, yada yada yada, sure miss crawling though, but most of the pards have given up, as i have, its going on chopping block once they pull alarm off it. beat up, but sure does like to roll over some hehehe.

happy days

I have a stable of vehicles:

2015 Mustang EcoBoost, chipped with cold air intake
2014 Dodge Ram Eco Diesel 4x4, hot tuned, 2" lift
2004 Ford F-150 FX4, 6" lift, cold air intake
2003 Hyundai Tiburon, cold air intake, long list of add ons
1991 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4, 4" lift, cold air intake, TONS of add ons
1991 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4, pretty much stock plus cold air intake
1990 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4, same as above, was sons daily for years.

I love cars, trucks, quads, pretty much anything with wheels and an engine.

"I have a sickness. I can't drive anything stock powered. The day it hits the driveway I'm ordering speed parts for it."

This is me too, even when I am looking at something to buy, I am planning what to do with it once I get it home.

Funny. I was thinking about starting a thread like this yesterday.

I'm in the beginning stages of building a turbo LM4 1985 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. My previous car was a 2009 G8 GT that was stock with the exception of a tune.

My '01 Z06 4x4

I love watching people that have the desire to do that. I guess when you get a bit older you get lazy as well. My affliction when younger was modifying motorcycles. Now I'm content with a mostly stock setup.

Aging back and knees have weakened my desire to crawl around under cars all weekend. I’ve been on the hunt for a nice 98-02 TA that is built, but sadly, my car tinkering days have passed me by.

My current stable is pretty small as I barely have time to focus on one vehicle let along a whole fleet. I typically have the normal daily rides and one project vehicle that gets all the attention and modifications. Currently that car is a 1968 mercury cougar, bought in Tucson in pieces requiring a full restro but have made some upgrades and personal touches along the way for better drivability. Undecided on what to do with the powertrain when the time comes.

Main daily is a 2011 f250 diesel and the wife has a fusion with the 2.0 ecoboost. Both are left stock.

As much as speed parts are fun I typically choose reliability over being fast. I dont typically want to have to work on my daily vehicles often and alot of times you affect the usability and reliability when modified so those get left alone.

I have a 91 560sel that I used to daily, but it turned into a project that I've mostly lost interest in. If only I had more time. I think I just need to part with it and send it to a good home, but I haven't been able to bring myself to sell it yet. I used to have a 84 500sec which was the euro model. Now that was an incredible car, but it was sad that it had to be desecrated with all of the EPA add ons when it was imported. :(

I have a 2000 LX470 that I'm doing some projects on right now. I'm swapping the full exhaust system on this to one from an Australian company which included tri-y headers and high flow cats. I'm actually going to be doing a video for them to show the finished product, and I'm going to have it dyno'd before and after to see the performance gains. Does anyone happen to know of any tuning shops in town with an AWD dyno?

I have been building custom cars/hot-rods/race cars professionally for the last ~20 years.

However, my "fun" car at the moment since I sold off a few projects is a '11 Ford SHO that has a few things done. Last time out it was running 12.70s in the quarter pretty easily.

I also Autocross a couple different cars.

Do you X-cross out at Goodguys?
That is a blast to watch

Years ago there was a thing called the Cylinder index.
Add up all the cylinders and there you go.
MCs Quads count, Side by each. scooters, race cars, go carts, toys.
Air compressors and generators do not count.
I in my old age have lowered mine a ton to 14.
Not a great number but I had much larger ones in years past.
So what you got?

I have a few times. Either in my Silver '11 SHO or a '89 SHO on Sundays. Matter of fact, last time I was there in the '89 I made it in the top ten of the day - beating every late model mustang/camaro/challenger with only 7 modded 'Vettes in front of me. In a stock '89 SHO. I have some fun pics of that day lol.

I usually do SCCA ProSolo in a '01 Integra Type-R.

The local classic Datsun club keeps me busy in my "spare" time.

I just finished a ton of little issues on the sweet lil' '67 Datsun 1600

And did a headlight-tail-light rewire on this 411 SSS Datsun Wagon

Which is a nice change from what I am used to working on :

My brother had a GMPP 525 LS3/6l80 package put in his C10. Cruised by the shop that's doing the swap today to take it for a test drive. Runs alright.. Can't post the vid.
