With the chatter about national reciprocity, and the fact that I'm starting to travel more, I guess its time to CCW again. I went looking for threads but the stuff I found was old, and the links were dead... So...

Who here does CCW classes - preferably in the North Valley / Ben Avery? Who's the preferred local solution? I know I can go to C2 or one of the big organizations, but if it's not super inconvenient, I'd rather send my money to a one-man shop who is making their living through firearms training.

And... GO! :-)

Thanks!

If you have an expired permit you can use that for proof of training and application with payment and you should be good to go

If someone is out in the mesa area I'd like to know. In the last month I've recommended 2 new shooters to Ted's or East Valley Tactical but that was based on the overall quality of their gun shop. Be nice to have input on their trainers.

Thanks much... it's been a very long time (thinking 20 years or so). I can probably find an old one - I'll take a look and if I do maybe I'll take that route.

Thanks... I'm looking for someone at least partially "North" - I live in the New River area... Mesa is a trek... :-)

Interesting... went reading the statute to see if there was any limitation on the age of the expired CCW and found that I may not even need to find it... It sounds like my DD-214 will suffice...

Get a hold of WhiteDragon on here, Carlos is a Certified Instructor for not only CCW here, but for Border Patrol. He is an exceptional Kenpoist as well, I know, I train him.

Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

Since you have had a CCW, you can use the expired permit to by pass any class.

AZ DPS has completely redone their website for the CCW process. You can now pay online and submit the application online too.
