One step above Thunderbolt, but hey, if ya just GOT to have some 22.

And one of the 3 .22s that will run reliably in an Advantage Arms Glock .22LR conversion.

Funny, I have an HK4 with all 4 caliber conversions and the .22 LR conversion is really picky on what it will function with. I dug around and grabbed a box each of the different .22 LR I had lying around. Don't know why I had some thunderbolt (never liked bare lead bullets) but I did so I figured I would try them. Sure enough, they were the only thing that worked 100%.

Mmmm. Sabretts. The only kind of hot dogs I buy are Nathan's and Hebrew National. Occasionally I find Sabretts, and then life is good.

Back on topic: If Biden wins, we will look back on those "price-gouging" prices as the good old days, and regret not buying at that price.

$25 is about what I am seeing for 9mm range ammo. Sure its about $8 up maybe but I dont call that gouging. That is a reasonable increase right now and if you can find that in private sales I would say GO FOR IT. Even if you have some stashed.

$70 for a 1000 primers also doesnt freak me out. Think about it. If you order one box ... Probably $36

Tack on around $3 for tax, $11 for hazmat and $10 for shipping.

Your looking at $60 ... guy puts $10 .. seems fair to me. Now hopefully he was smart enough to make a large enough order to cover the hazmat but .. that is not the buyers business. He has it you dont.

Sure if you bought it 6 months ago at Sportsmans you could have gotten it for around$45 OTD but .. that was 6 months ago and sportsmans doesnt have it now.

Again .. its what I call a reasonable increase.

Now the guys on armslist asking $ $2000 for a case of 9mm blazer .. that is obscene but .. if you have the pockets go for it.

Me .. if its something I think I have to have .. I am ok with the reasonable increases. Luckily .. I am pretty well covered but if I see a deal I jump on it so I am MORE covered.

I bought my home in NYC for 315,000. 3 years later I sold it for 425,000. I didnt tell the buyer I would only sell it for the price I paid and they didnt ask.

Reasonable = Ability to be reasoned... justified... understood under a particular context.
Reasonable = "I got it, you want it, therefore..."

I will say the same unpopular sh*t I say every single time this stupid a$$ topic comes up. Of all the topics I participate in I think this is the one where my position pisses people off the most here. Oh well.

Maybe I should just copy paste and ever 3-4 years repost it and piss off the socialist again but here goes

I find these threads amusing. Gun boards and gun board patrons are notorious for shouting from the rooftops (or on their computer keyboard)
"'merica!"
"damn socialist gonna ruin the country"
"dont want no socialism here"
"this aint Cuba"
"Look at Venezuela"
"AOC wants communism"

Then invariably every few years there is an ammo/gun rush and the same groups that are screaming about socialism want someone or something to regulate costs so that everyone everyone can afford to buy in.

Huh?!

Sounds like when I hear lefties scream that Jeff Bezos is worth billions... like its a bad thing .. I am glad I live in a country where you can, through luck, hard work and smart decisions still become a billionaire. That is America

Wasnt that long ago we had this happen. If you didnt buy during the gun giveaway period and stock up on either ammo or reloading supplies then shame on you but .. the free market is called such for a reason. Sucks to be on the wrong side of it but you cant have the good without the bad sometimes.

I picked up some guns at FANTASTIC prices over the last few years. Even got my sig 229 for $469 and a couple other guns at fantastic prices.

Every time I had a few bucks I bought a couple of jars of powder, Saw someone had a case of primers for sale locally and figured. well primers dont go bad .... so stuck them in the closet. Have been stocking up on bullets little by little when I saw a sale or found a few bucks in the budget.

It is no one elses responsibility to maintain your level of comfort. It is America and the market is going to decide the price.

Unless of course .. we changed our minds and are suddenly all in on Socialism.

Lets get the lines started and we can belly up to the window, stick out our hand and some official can give each person on line 7 rounds and a pat on the ass

Freedoms are Freedoms even when we dont like the way someone uses them. Guy wants to sell his ammo for 5 million and someone will buy it good for him. I sold all of my "extra" ammo at just about what i paid for it but how many of you sitting on gold are willing to sell it for prices offered 10 years ago or 20. Who is willing to sell me their house for what they bough t it for 50 years ago?

Oh and before anyone throws around price gouging ... There are very specific commodities the government covers under price gouging and very specific instances and prices where it is considered gouging. Ammo as much ... as we like it .. at present isn't covered.

If a retailer is being short sighted and charging what you feel are exorbitant prices .. dont buy from them again and just support the ones who stuck it out with "Reasonable" upcharges.

Reasonable covers .. warehouse guys working OT to ship and receive product to meet demand, additional shifts with OT and maybe night Dif to make up for demand and a whole host of other costs associated with meeting a once in a lifetime demand for a product that no one could have foresaw.

Funny ... Im the guy from NY who by virtue of that fact is supposed to be the Dem loving, socialist, communist something or other. Nope

Boriqua, there you go again, talking common sense, logic and Economics 101 to the unwashed masses.

It's like beating your head against the wall in that it feels so good when it stops.

Capitalism.

Still better than communism though.

Sometimes Capitalist societies have bread lines.

Sometimes Communist societies have bread.
I'll be sure to get my mother's take on that, considering she lived under communism in Hungary.

Or you could try that with Oleg Volk, and get curb stomped, since he too, lived with communism.

Oleg Volk can sure click a shutter, but he couldn't curb stomp my sister.
