Stimulus Check

Biden bucks are gonna get me a new Staccato C2 DUO.

It's not typically what I go for, but those things look very sweet!

I moved after Stimulus 1 and before Stimulus 2. I got Stimulus one direct deposited. I closed my account when I moved and then Stimulus 2 happened. They obviously figured out my account was closed. About a month ago I received a paper check in the mail for Stimulus 2. They figured out my new address at least.

On March 3 I filed my taxes electronically giving them my new account info. Then on Wednesday the 10th I received a letter from the IRS stating they tried to deposit Stimulus 2 into my account and found it closed. And they preceded to give me a one and a half page explanation as to what I need to do in order to receive Stimulus 2. They did this about 4-5 weeks after I received a paper check for Stimulus 2.

Now I am just wondering how long it will take for the IRS to figure out my account information in order to send me Stimulus 3 and do a direct deposit or are they going to send me another paper check?

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, they stated that they intend to deposit it into my closed account. Again! :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead:

I did my taxes yesterday and it asked if I received both stimulus checks. I only received one, and voila, it added the missing check to my tax refund!
