That mine is due to be mailed today? I hope they mean Direct deposit as they did last time with the mail service being what it is right now. My grand daughter just got a gift I sent out on the 15th of December yesterday. Not in a rush and dont have any plans for the money .. still would hate to have it lost in the Post office abyss.

Mine says the exact same thing. My last one was direct deposit and this one says it will be mailed on 1/6? What gives?

It wasn't deposited today so....I think they are mailing it. Bummer.

Lived at the same address for 5-6 years and always file electronically so I don't know what's up. They deposited the last one?
 
I get USN pension, VA check, and SSecurity, yet they send a paper check long after I have forgotten about it. Said they did not know how to reach me, I let it drop.

Fortunately, having too much money doesn't make you ineligible, only having too much income.

Another good reason to be debt free and not require much income.
 
Well .. my debit card arrives today!?

They Direct deposited the first one so I dont know why I am getting a debit card. Filed taxes at the same address for at least the last 5 years. Like most things government .. they cant get fuking anything right.

So .. since they sent me back some of my money I would like to pay off a bill ... gotta figure out how I do that with a debit card .. Sigh.

I was in the exact same scenario. I just got one of those debit cards a couple of days ago. You have to activate it and create an online account, and then you can transfer it to a bank account.

Weeeelllll .. maybe a little bit on 22LR!! :mrgreen:

But .. I was anally violated by the dentist and I dont like having a nut over me so The debit card thing is a pain in the ass. I am just about done with the dental bill and would like it gone.
 
It is a little hard to deposit those cards. I never got one so tax rebate for me I suppose. Odd I get Navy Pension V.A. pension and social security, all govt. funds direct deposit, but they cant hit me up with a direct deposit. gubbmint?@1%$*)+
