Our great governor just extended stay at home until may 15th.
This economy is so screwed.

He starting with a “soft opening”, I’m sure this is because of pressure from both sides. One thing that I like that he said is this is a “temporary normal”, not the “new normal”. That is a term that is completely frustrated me, as we should not fundamentally change your society out of fear...

This is not what I wanted to hear, but that’s the way it goes. By the end of next month we should be back to normal. I really thought he was going to open this back up especially after seeing all the data and the charts he put up showing how we don’t have a major issue here at all.

🤷🏼‍♂️

Will your IFAK class still be available? I wanted to sign up but I didn't want to run the risk of it being cancelled and trying to reschedule.

Please let me know via PM and when I get paid friday i'll sign up.

You must be thinking of someone else, as I do not run an IFAK class (although I probably could). 😁

It’s almost as if they are trying to time it to just a couple of weeks before Memorial Day.

Didn’t Pence say something about how this may all be behind us by then?

May 15. What an idiot. Let's see how many small businesses we can screw over while all the giant corporations i.e. Walmart, Costco, etc keep raking in the dough.
Oh well, I guess Douchey the Bag has to virtue signal to all his RINO McCainite buddies.

This is such BS.
Business is absolutely dead, he wants me to stay home another two weeks now? Almost broke...
Yea, easy to preach from the mountaintop when they have plenty of money in the bank.

Come May 15th, they'll extend it ANOTHER two weeks, and on and on and on...ridiculous.

Honestly don’t think people are going to continue to stay home for much longer. Even some business are going to say F it and open anyway. The people have just about had enough I think.

I think the Governor said $2500 fine if you open?

I've seen a couple of small businesses that opened already.

It's better than being bankrupt and losing everything you have.

i think i'd open my establishment and roll the dice, its better than setting on your arse and watch your future go down the drain, because some swamp a..hole decided you couldn't do biz .

Now that we are warming up, I'm curious to see the stats on new cases etc. I have thought all along that this virus will act just like so many others and become less active in warmer weather. It won't go away totally since it can survive inside where the AC is on. It is said that it can survive on some materials for days but, you take those materials out in the heat and it will not live long so you won't be taking your boxes and bags from the grocery store and into your home with live virus on them. Just my 2 pennies.

I never agreed with his "essential businesses only". What's essential for some is not essential for others. This whole thing is like a bad sci-fi movie.

Yes, it's all so stupid. It's "essential" that I am able to work so that I can provide for my family.

At first, I thought Ducey was being timid because it was an election year, but then I remembered he's not up for another couple years. He's just gone soft.
