I have a suggestion for a new tourism slogan for St. Louis - “At Least We’re Not Philadelphia”

Mask insanity way more relaxed. Some restaurants will not allow you to move tables together to accommodate a large party. Hotels still acting stupid which makes it a pain to find acceptable coffee early in the am.
Seemed to be a fair amount of people out and about in old St. Charles last night. Airport enforcing the same social distancing/mask etc BS but they are not shaming violators here as in Philly.
Somewhere someone has to cap the amount of silly women allowed to travel with large dogs per airport/concourse/gate/ airplane. Too many obvious non-service animals barking, bolting down the aisle etc.

I haven't been to st Louis in a bit but have been there a bunch and enjoyed it. I even entertained a job offer there for a hot 5 minutes.

Good food, good clubs and bars and a fun night life. I think it was a fairly pretty city with a history too.

"Not as bad as you were expecting" should be their new tourism slogan. Better than the current slogans "#1 Crime Rate in America" and "Worse than Detroit".

I had to spend a week there for work a few years ago. Once you get over the shiny half of a McDonald's logo they have, it's just another medium sized city. If it wasn't for the high crime rate or the murder-inducing heat/humidity, it was nice place. I remember it's very green and has lots of large water towers. Oh, and a lot of brick buildings.

I was not in the city. Had one dinner meeting in St Charles, the historic area has good food. My hotel was in O'Fallon. Spent most of my time in Wentzville. Absolutely nothing out there for a good breakfast early. At least I had a fridge and microwave in the room. Instant Bustello saved the day.
