Seems like every Firearm Magazine has the picture or an article on the new Springfield SA-35 High Power clone. By all accounts it appears to be a really nice gun.
Every one of the above mentioned magazines shows an MSRP price of around $700.
Every gun site that sells this pistol, which is extremely hard to find, shows a selling price of between $1000 and $1200. Grab-A-Gun currently has this gun in stock for close to $1200.
Why the huge difference in the advertised price and the actual selling prices available. I'm aware of the fact that demand versus availability effects the actual market price, but such a huge difference puzzles me. Maybe it's that simple, if so, the magazines need to stop advertising them at such a low price.
