First time trying to buy during an election year? Rookie.

Buy cheap, stack deep.

and learn how to reload. I'm now teaching my 75 year old neighbor and the 80 year old across the street how to reload, its going slow but its going.

If you think it's bad now wait to see what happens to prices right after the election if Trump looses the election.Todays prices will seem cheap.

OP is "blakejenna," suspected in a nearby thread of being a troll or a bot.

Blakejenna, if you are a real person, this is your opportunity to let us know you are a real person and that your intentions are honorable.

Where it gets ugly is in buying a new toy! Damnit!!

So I had a fleeting thought about a new .45

Not a fully formed "I need to go find a .45" but a niggling tingle in the part of my brain that responds to the smell of gun powder and the sound of loud noises.

Nothing special .. maybe another Rock Island ?? ... Ruger Americans are going cheap.

Then I remembered I sold off my two boxes of large primers. DAMN! So if I got a 45 ... which I probably wont now anyway after 10 grand to a health care provider .... I wouldnt have any damn way of feeding it. I have brass ... I can get bullets ... but primers are like finding diamonds at Pebble beach and finding ammo is almost as bad.

So the itch remains but I will lick my financial wounds a bit and maybe by the time I have gotten over the shock of 10 GRAND spent on a guy who has maybe 10 years left on the celestial orb that chose to spawn me!!

Primers might be available again or some ammo at non rapey prices. So now this damn shortage has affected my personal happy space!!

I would scout Armslist for large pistol primers but ... aw sh*t!!

Shot shell and large pistol seem to be the 2 that I see pop up in stock most often. Either way, I wouldn't let that deter you. This too shall pass.
