Smith and Wesson magazine question

I have a 15 round blued magazine marked with the S&W logo on the front and backplate.
Marked 9MM on the front.
It will not fit in my full sized M&P. It will not fit in my M&P compact.
It has a grey follower.

Thought. Could this mag be for a 2.0 version of the M&P 9MM? How would one tell?

Maybe Shield Plus, but they normally have an orange follower.

Looks like my 2.0.

Looks like an M&P 2.0 mage to me. I checked a few models and that's the best I can find.

Shield plus is my guess as well.

I think Shield Plus only has one vertical groove. My M&P 2.0 has two.

Yep and only marked 13 on the body.

I have both and from what I see on my end your pic is a M&P 2.0 mag. The shield+ has a different base plate for the 13 & 15 round mags and orange followers as Clyde pointed out.

I believe the original M&P9, 1.0 magazines will fit in the M&P9, 2.0 firearm.
Hopefully we'll be out today and I'll check.

Your magazine is for a M&P compact (15 round). Got out today and took these photos of a M&P full size magazine (17 round). You can generally tell a 1st Gen mag from a 2.0 by their base plates.
