I called silencerco today to check on the status of my summer promotion registration. They stated I was approved, but that octane's would not be in stock to ship for at least another three additional months, and that they hope to have the first batch ready to ship after January.

That will make this a 7-month process at minimum to receive the free can, prior to submitting to the ATF. So, I'll be shooting it 2 years from now?

Anyone here received any product from silencerco as part of the promotion yet?

Ugh...

It would be nice if they could at least get us serial #s to start the paperwork.

I received yet another email yesterday stating my application was approved for the promotion. This is for and total now stating the same thing. This one also says 4 months wait time. I'm assuming they're using the emails to restart the four month clock every time.

They posted the other day on instagram that a batch of cans from the promo were shipping out.

I just received an email yesterday. My can hasn't been made yet and I applied July 7th or 8th. Just a couple days into the promotion.

Maybe I'll have the one I paid for in time to celebrate my "free" one getting to C2..
Bought mine mid July.

Nope

I saw an Instagram post where they had a bunch that were slated as the free Octanes. Mine is a 45, be nice if it were in that batch.

A couple Reddit users are reporting that their dealer a couple of the free octane nines this week. Sounds like they were all Capitol Armory buyers.

Spoke to them yesterday. With the government shutdown they could not process form 2s to make product nor form 3s to ship existing product to dealers. They told me it would likely be March before they start moving any significant product, assuming there's not another shut down.

Seams like they could do about 98% off the work still. Maybe not assign serial numbers?

I bought an Octane45 and the end of the July promo month. It got to Chambered in September.
Haven’t heard diddly on the free 22 yet.
Are they still slogged down that anyone knows of?
If I understand this, when I get a serial number on the 22, will it be another 8 months for that wait?

Yep, normal form 4 process once it gets to your dealer. You should have been receiving emails from them; you did register for the promo and get your confirmation email correct?

Waiting here too. Maybe the first one will be out of ATF jail in time to make room for the free one.
