Enjoyed it when I had the chance at some trigger time.

12+1, smooth, good reset, despite the trigger return spring needing to step a little livelier to extension.

Anyone made the switch from G43, Shield or other?

Are they out yet? I would like to play with one but I doubt I would switch. I dont wanna become a Sig snob :]

Yes, they are out, but fairly scarce.

Prescott Gun Club has one for rent, and I'd bet that bigger ranges like C2 and SGC in PHX have them as well.

How can there not be a picture?

I'm going to hold on before jumping in to see some "higher" round count reports... plus that will allow for them to hit the shelves in quantities that prices normalize.
I've survived this long without one in a carry line-up... I'll bet I can make it a bit longer.

I want to love SIG, but every time I buy something from them they drop it from their line up and kill all support.

I was lucky enough to be in Pistol Parlor in April when they happened to receive one, and I jumped on it. I played with one at the SHOT Range Day in January, and I was immediately impressed. I've owned quite a few CCW pistol over the years; S&W J-Frame, Ruger LCP I and II, Kahr CW9 and PM9, Kimber 3" 1911, Glock 19 and 26, S&W Shield 9mm, Sig P238, and a Kel-Tec P-11. The Sig P365 is better than all of them. I shot my friends G43 side-by-side, and the Sig makes the Glock feel outdated already. Sig's trigger is superior, the size is superior (even for my big hands) and the capacity is doubled! Even with the 12rd magazine, it is still smaller than the G43 with a mag extension...but you get double the capacity. Even the night sights are great. If you can get one, I recommend it.

Not my image, but a good reference. If you want a specific photo, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

It really will come down to how well the mags hold up. If they do the job, the gun will be a winner. SIG has had some disappointments, but they do know how to build a great piece.

Is that a pun toward sig for their drop test issues?

I love mine. It replaced my LC9S Pro. Over 500 rounds so far with no malfunctions, great trigger.

They are hard to come by if you want to pay $499. I’m on the Brownells wait list at that price. They are going for $650-$800 on Gunbroker....F THAT!!! MSRP $599
I shot one at that sports expo at BenAvery.
It is a really smooth shooter with the 147s or 150s, and a great trigger.
It IS what the Shield WAS a few years back.
Currently I’m Shieldless, but have a 43 sitting around to flex with.
Like the Shield, things will calm down and they will probably $450 all day long, but that will take a year or so.

I haven't got to hold one yet but they seem worth the hype from all the reading/video watching I've done. I'll replace the shield with a P365 but I'm going to wait until the price comes down a bit and they are easy to find. Seems like they got the kinks worked out already.

Wasn't meant to be, but if the shoe fits...

I want one but I'll wait until the "ME FIRST" crazies have their fill. In the meantime, I have my Shield or G26 to carry. Oh, and a little P3AT that's been riding in my pocket so long it has no finish left on the slide.

... Yes, still have the Glock 43, but my new pocket carry is the P365

I own both a P365 and a couple of 9mm Shields. Personally I like them both. That said the P365 is currently my preferred carry weapon. My only criticism of it at the moment is that I find the grip rather narrow. Since the P365 follows the same practice as the P320 insomuch as it's modular, I'm hoping that at some point down the road SIG or a 3rd party releases replacement grip modules for it.

There are reports of the striker breaking with fairly low round counts. Supposedly it was just a bad batch but I'd keep an eye on it if you've got one.

Someone is making a steel one but it costs $99 and I don't feel like you should have to run out and buy a part that expensive for a brand new gun.
