Sig bdx scope

Anyone have any experience with the sig BDX scope/rangefinder system?

Very interesting.
If it works like it is supposed too it would be worth a shot I guess.
It would take a lot out of the guessing game.
From what I see you can get a combo range finder and scope for around $600.
That makes me wonder about the actual quality.
All my scopes and rangefinders that I use for hunting cost more than that if bought separately.

They have a video out and a guy shoots at 700+ yards.
They didn't say wether he hit the target or not , but if you are shooting that far you need a good quality scope , especially if you are shooting at animals.

edit: I did find a couple other combos that did cost $1300 or so.
I still think that is quite a bit of technology to build into the system for the money.

I kind of agree with the above statement.
Until it has been a proven system I think it is just another gadget , but I am sure there are lots of people that will buy it.
If they can perfect it though I would't mind playing with one.

Like the 2 above posts, I have the same question of durability. I played with the system at the last G&F expo @ Ben Avery and it was very slick. To the point that it was almost cheating to ring steel. But, again that was a vendor demo on a bench...

I have the BDX range finder and I love it. It tells you Moa adjustment so I just dial my turret accordingly and it works great. I’m Leary about the scope but it would be awesome if it works as advertised.

It's a slick system...kinda takes skill out of it, though. The pair basically work like the Tracking Point system, but doesn't cost thousands of dollars.

Add a Kestrel, and you are all set.

I don't like relying on battery powered devices to shoot, so I'd rather use my Mil Dot Master and DOPE.
