With a little research, I’ve found out it was a Gun made for Sears as it has Sears stamped on it. It is around a 1969 and is a double barrel double action. Pretty neat shotgun. My dad shot it about a year ago, so I’m hoping to take it out soon myself. Hopefully I can find ammo

Tech if you dont find shells for some strange reason let me know. As Ballistic said they are usually all over the place at wal mart

Interesting info, some of the older Ted williams and Sears logo stuff could be or is browning or winchester, just a different brand on them.
I have a awesome O/U in 20 ga badged Ted Williams, and its actually a winchester 101, my thoughts being a avid shotgun collector is that sears offerings were excellent pieces and well made, wards on the other hand were hit and miss. But wards did offer quite a few nice upgraded units, as did Western auto,
good luck, with hunt on rounds, most of the wally worlds near us no longer stock ammo.
best for the day

So this Stevens shotgun doesn’t have any serial numbers on it anywhere. Does that make it a Pre 66 gun? As far as the ammo. 83rd and Union Walmart is out and 19th and bell Walmart was out. That can change from day to day though.

It was in terrible shape when I got it.
Took a complete disassemble down to the finest parts, reanodize of the receiver, blast and park the barrel, find a pistol grip to replace the dog chewed one it had, and finish off with Guncoat in FDE.
I learned more about that shotgun than I never wanted to learn, but it’s been a jewel since.
One thing, it hates reduced recoil buck, it’ll shoot low wall brass all day, but something about the rr impulse causes it to FTF the next round.

Winchester 1897 Takedown - This one was made in '55. Yes, it's got a Model 12 forearm on it; installed long ago by a PO. Someday I might change it back. I had the barrel shortened to 19", threaded for internal chokes and had the brass bead re-installed. I also shortened the stock ~1.5" and installed a trim-to-fit recoil pad as I prefer a shorter LOP. Shoots great, but it's having extraction issues at the moment. I'm sure it's a worn spring, but haven't had the time to look at it yet.
