Howard's Ace, at 32nd St./Indian School, was for a long time (pre Wuhan virus) the best source for low prices on bulk ammo.

If he's lucky, the clerk will settle for being reimbursed for medical expenses and lost wages. Probably not, though.

I'm in that store at least three times a week and can't imagine any of the associates chasing someone out the door. Wonder if taking a bullet would fall under a Workers Comp claim? I bet the shoplifter is still running.
 
No one shoplifting is worth trying to stop.
Do I want to risk getting shot or stabbed saving a 12 pack of beer?
If I worked there I would have held the door for them too.
