I made sure I let LaCrae know what I thought of him. We are not to be served but to serve. He knows this. I would never allow another man to shine my shoes as an act of submission.

I would take their wife/wives if she/they were hot though. :o  But yea, acts of submission means you lost, period.

Salvation Army withdraws guide that asks white supporters to apologize for their race
The group has withdrawn the controversial guide amid backlash from donors.
A few paragraphs later, it continues: "We have done our best to provide accurate information, but unfortunately, some have chosen to ignore those efforts. At the same time, International Headquarters realized that certain aspects of the guide may need to be clarified.
I have not chosen to ignore their efforts. I have chosen to pay close attention to their efforts. There is nothing that needs to be "clarified"; they were quite clear.
When they admit they were wrong, and "sincerely apologize" for promoting that crap, I may consider sending them money again. Right now, not a chance.

There's no going back for me. Even if they delivered a seemingly sincere apology, the original stance that they took is indicative of a deep-seated wokeness that is usually anything but sincere. I want no part in it.

So the question is, what are some good charities to donate to?

The statement, in part, also reads: "The Salvation Army occasionally publishes internal study guides on various complex topics to help foster positive conversations and grace-filled reflection among Salvationists. By openly discussing these issues, we always hope to encourage the development of a more thoughtful organization that is better positioned to support those in need. But no one is being told how to think. Period."

Double-talk bullchit.

A few paragraphs later, it continues: "We have done our best to provide accurate information, but unfortunately, some have chosen to ignore those efforts. At the same time, International Headquarters realized that certain aspects of the guide may need to be clarified.

"Consequently, for both reasons, the International Social Justice Commission has now withdrawn the guide for appropriate review."

Translation: "This blew up in our face and now we are searching for a way out."

These worms are trying to wiggle out of the mess that they created when they jumped on the woke bandwagon.

AZ Humane Society.

UPDATE:

Well, it just keeps getting worse.

The SA is getting uncovered in many quarters now as having truly aligned with Soros and various lefty groups.

The latest is partnering with the Antifa/Soros linked "Bail Project" in a 2-day "Social Justice Forum".

Yep,...the SA is dead to me.

I think racism is probably inherent in people. Black folks exhibit it, too.

The SA is now off my list of preferred charities. Tried to look up the Central Nova News and got nowhere, but another search confirmed the original post.

Having spent my Junior and Senior High School years in a school that was 2/3 black, I can guarantee you that the black community is much more racist than the white community.

In the whole 2 years I was there, I met a handful of blacks who didn't appear to be racist. The rest were.
