I've got RMR "direct mount" slides I purchased from PSA, not a big deal.

I agree it’s not a big deal; all new guns should come that way. Yet CZ, Canik etc keep pumping out guns that require plates.

Oh, I totally agree, they should be standardized as well with just one type of mount. My Sig Legion X5 doesn't have a cut out, neither does my CZ p10, and that pisses me off. The IWI Masada needs a plate from RMS to RMR, but it's my EDC for now.

For instance?...only because I'm looking for something better but reasonably priced..QuietM4 said:QuangTri said:Wake me up when they do away with those mushy triggers and the goofy Glock grip angle.
Wake me up when you realize how easy it is to change the Glock trigger to something much better.

Not to further derail this, but a drop in option.QuietM4 said:XJThrottle said:For instance?...only because I'm looking for something better but reasonably priced..QuietM4 said:Wake me up when you realize how easy it is to change the Glock trigger to something much better.
$30

Polish and round over the firing pin safety dome, polish the trigger bar.
Timney Alpha is a great drop in, usually around $150.XJThrottle said:Not to further derail this, but a drop in option.QuietM4 said:XJThrottle said:For instance?...only because I'm looking for something better but reasonably priced..

It looks like the Ruger should be compatible with all the normal Gen 3 Glock parts except the locking block, so I suspect most drop in Glock Gen 3 triggers should work. I haven't had one in my hands yet, but from all the videos available, that looks to be the case. But, from experience, many of the Gen 3 Clones don't play nicely with all aftermarket parts.

OK, please inform me of these clones that don't play nice. I've done at least 2 dozen of these clones, and I only had an issue with 2 of them. One, the aftermarket barrel wasn't letting it go into full battery. The other, the "safety" on the trigger bar was hanging up the slide. Swapped barrel in one, worked fine, swapped trigger in the other, works fine.
