The 1500 is a quick minimum value sale if you are cash poor, I wouldnt take less unless i absolutely had to personally. If you want to send me photos i can give you a better idea, i will give you my number though larryd is a bit sharper than I am on them and might have some input. I would hesitate parting with, i am just rebuilding my grouping and a rock island and smith corona are on my list.

Lobo2087 said:This is what an original 03 stock should look like. They are oiled black walnut. Should be dark and not light and smooth as yours looks. If you look you can see remnants of the original finish in the dents on yours. It is still nice just not original.
