Rock identification PIC’S!

Are any of you rock guy’s?

I have a Rock I’d like to identify, it’s large. 55 pounds. So I don’t want to just carry it around trying to find out. I’m hoping I can start with pic’s.

Yes it was wet from rinsing it off.

Clyde and half cocked. It looks like malachite to me too, and if it is it’s worth something. But, I’ve had another guy say (without me prompting about malachite,) said well, it’s not malachite. He thought a quartz agate. But, it still could be that.

If it is it’ll be worth several hundred. Worth the backpacking it out

Maybe I need to hit a rock shop.

I'm not sure, it's hard to tell from the photo. The green color doesn't quite look right for Malachite, but it could be the photo.
Does it have a translucent quality to it?

Back when I was a copper miner, we would have identified it as Leaverite.
Or maybe called it a NFR stone.
Hope you get a better answer than that.

IMO it is not malachite, could tell if you post a picture of it dry.
Have seen a lot of green rocks in the Mazatzal mountains.
