I haven't been since August/September of last year. I gave up on it because you'd have to show up 45 minutes before they opened just to get a bench. Forgot about going any other time unless you want to wait 2 hours.

Is it still like that during the weekend or during the week? My membership is going to expire soon, thought I might try and squeeze some more use out of it.

Haven't been during the weekend in a while, but I have been several times over the past few months during the week...I was just there on Tuesday. They are still doing the "social distancing" BS by only allowing shooters at every other bench, but I haven't seen a full range once. I was chatting with one of the range officers, and he said they aren't seeing nearly half of the number of usual shooters due to the ammo prices. Weekends are still busy, he said...but not like it has been in the past.

While I do like Rio, as soon as my membership expires I am going to sign up at Phoenix Rod & Gun Club instead. I'm tired of dealing with having to track down a division director to sign off on the High Power, Pistol, Rimfire, etc to get permission to shoot on the other ranges. PRGC just lets you pay to have access to the "special" bays.

Son and myself were Friday regulars for some months now. Only had to wait for the range to go hot to enter lots of empty benches .....just ditto the above.

The shotgun range is a ghost town thanks to the incompetent management there. Shotgunners are going elsewhere in droves.

I was there yesterday, no wait at all, plenty of open benches. Haven’t been there on a weekend in years, so I can’t speak to that.
