Man so any good looking revolvers.
Makes me want to break mine out and pop some eggs with mine again.
 
Another one is a Smith model 17-3 (with all 3 "T's") in the original box from the seventies. Its not a very good picture of it (not that any of my pics are that great) as its has glare on the side of the barrel.

S&W.38/44 “Heavy Duty”. The “Outdoorsman” had the adjustable sights.
Dates to around 1956

Factory goof!
Shown is a S&W Model 25-2 in .45 ACP. with 6 1/2” barrel. The correct barrel marking for this model is Model of 1955. The 25-2 shown is marked Model of 1950. Sharp eyed viewers will note the barrel is heavy, not tapered as would be the case with a 1950. Also shown is a handwritten letter from S&W historian Roy Jinks explaining that 1500 25-2 barrels were misstamped 1950. A decision was made to assemble and ship the revolvers despite the incorrect markings! Letter dates to 1988.
