Hey thom I can’t respond to pms but I have one myself it’s the 7600 pump action. Yeah the guy I bought it from used it for deer hunting up north. I just never see anyone with that type of gun in AZ which makes sense.

Growing up in Michigan I used to see them all the time. I don’t think there would much of a market here.

I have a 760 the original Amish Assault rifle. They were very popular back in the north east. Especially Pennsylvania where semi autos were not allowed for hunting. I thought of selling mine from time to time and looking on GB the prices are kinda crazy! One of my brothers had one as well. They were pretty accurate and the pump action is fairly fast for follow up shots.

A few years ago I picked up this Remington 7600 Anniversary Edition in .30-06 at Sportsman's Warehouse in Goodyear for $795.00. I should have bought 2 of them. It has the best Walnut I've ever seen!

That sure is pretty. I sometimes think I should have kept mine like that. I leaned my rifle against a tree and walked away to look over a cliff. I turned around and that thing sparkled in the sun. I walked back to camp and put camouflage tape on it right away. Best tasting elk I ever had, after I did the camouflage.

I have read over and over articles by experienced riflemen that the 760/7600 are one of the very best hunting rifles ever made.... you can chamber the next round w/o taking your right hand off the stock.

I have a 760 in 30-06 that belonged to my stepdad. 3 rounds/yr in the Mich U.P. - two to sight in and one to take a buck.
