Hello,

My safe I got at Costco 15 years ago finally had the electronic lock stop working. Some of the keys don't work anymore. Do you guys know any good locksmiths who can swap it out? And of course the safe is currently locked. And I am in Mesa.

Is this a Cannon? I have one that's about that age. I can't remember when it happened to me, but they sent me a new key pad and walked me through the install by phone, all no charge.

I'm sure you have - but if you haven't changed the battery recently - do that before replacing it. I've found weird things happen when the battery is low. If you've done that the I'll second the suggestion to go to the manufacturer first... if that fails then go to the locksmith route.

good idea on battery, have found on the several i have that not all batteries are equal, i had to on more than one occassion, per Deserthills bill, to use different batteries due to strength of battery to make lock disengage, ect.
use name brand batteries not the discount store units, they tend to lack considerable power to function lock, best of luck, nothing more frustrating than being unable to access the drug of choice

No luck getting it open yet. Safe company is sort of helpful. Told me
to change the battery, seems like they are going to ask for proof of purchase (the person who bought it for me in 2009 is dead and I don’t have the receipt) and a photo ID, etc before helping further. We’ll see how they want to handle it.

Any locksmith recommendations are still appreciated at this point.

Ended up getting into it by getting a new keypad. As long as it's a similar keypad you can just swap it in.
