I try not to head out to the range on Saturday but the wife was anxious to get her new Ruger out again so there I was. It was crowded as all hell but we got some fun shooting in.
The wife was killing it with her Ruger SP101 which we picked up maybe a month ago but she was really on with her SR22 which she has owned for years. I was pretty impressed. I shot the ruger Sp101 "ok"
geez its such a little thing and it has such a little grip and SOOOOOOOO long a trigger pull.
But its hers so doesnt matter if I can shoot it great or not. I will stick with my GP.
I brought my Sig229 and my M&PC both in 40 to try some new rounds which I think I love and that went fine but I also brought the S&W 28 just for giggles. No .. I will not be selling that gun like new. Plan on using and enjoying it. Hell I aint getting any younger. Who am I going to save it for.
anyway .. while i know 8 yds is no great distance. That is 50+ rounds with about 1/3 being .357
Fun day at the range .. even on a saturday!
