Randalls Firearms has sold and the new owners are these guys. Seemed like nice people I talked to and they have more tactical stuff on the wall instead of hunting style rifles when Harlan was there. No hassles over a mask for the fake disease when I walked in without one.

Who was that big Grizzly Adams/Michael Landon's buddy on Highway to Heaven looking dude that was a writer that worked there? Gary maybe? Is he still around?

Yes, the name Gary sounds quite familiar to me. Always been pleasant to visit that shop.
I wouldn't bother with the newest BBQ joint that moved in beside them, but ymmv.

Shopped at Randals for years back when they had a really nice selection of reloading supplies. As the reloading stuff got less and less shelf space I liked it less and less.

They were a CZ dealer though, and I drove all the way across town to get my wife's CZ-85.

I was in there yesterday on a whim. Didn't really have much in the way of firearms, had a fair amount of accessories, and a tiny amount of ammo that was predictably priced.. That ol' place needs some renovation work though. Lol.

While I was in there, some really old dude was looking at ammo and asking what price every box was cause he couldn't see well enough to read the price tags. Given the way the store looks/smells inside it was quite fitting (not insulting the store/owners/customer, but it all just went together so well...)
