Curfew was weird .. I only half paid attention when it was put in place a couple days ago and frankly forgot all about it. Its all quiet here in East mesa and if it weren't for the news coverage I couldnt tell anything was different.
Forgetting all about it I arranged a meeting with someone at the local Frys on Broadway and S Ellsworth to make a trade at about 8pm. My wife and I pull into the gas station area on our little scooter and
Parking lot was virtually empty in front of Frys, No cars moved ... no one was getting gas and there was no attendant. Even traffic on Ellsworth was insanely light ...
Except for the Methhead types on bicycles that are always just on the edges like jackals waiting for an easy target .. no one was around.
When the guy I was meeting with showed up we had the run of the place and it was QUIET ... It was weird!

Yeah but, since when they are on RIOT patrol, no loaded weapons are allowed per Herr Ducey.
