I have a gun I'd like to sell that I acquired with my till valid c&r FFL.

How exactly do I do this as the bound book says I have to record information about the buyer like name, address and DL number?

Most buyers aren't really going to want to hand this information over to me (which I get). Also this really isn't a valuable enough gun that messing with gunbroker and shipping would be worth it.

Also can a c&r FFL sell a handgun to someone 18+ given they are an AZ resident or is it 21+ as I'm technically an ffl for this transaction?

Selling is called disposition. You need the full name, address, DL#, and DOB, some like a phone # too. Yes, most buyers won't give you that information. I've had people throw hissy fits because I wasn't going to break federal law for them. I've gotten to the point that I no longer sell anything that I've obtained with my license.
Also you are not anything but a collector of curios and relics with an C&R. You are not in the business of buying and selling firearms for profit so you are not an FFL period.

If you have an concern about a sale you can always take it to a dealer (FFL) and have him/her do the transfer.

If you end your C&R you don`t have to send the records to the ATF. It says that on the renewal form...

I understand that, but I've only had the license a few months so I've got a ways to go.

If the gun is in your bound book, all FFL/ATF rules apply.

Listen to the above. You'll keep yourself out of trouble on the slim possibility ATF audits you. Don't say it doesn't happen 2 of my friends with C&R licenses had an audit recently.

If you sell it just be up front during the listing and negotiation stage that it is in a C&R bound book .
Most here know exactly how it works . If they still cry they are just immature self centered mucosos
that need to grow up.
Let em whine , rules is rules.

I was going to write almost exactly what needsmostuff wrote. If you put it in your ad the buyer expects to give that info. It's only a problem if the buyer is expecting a private sale and gets surprised.

my my, dissappointment is you did not understand what you were getting into when taking on the lic. bummer, one should know all they can in regards to any gubermint document prior to committing,

not rocket science its in the instructions.
