Hope this is the correct section. My ex is giving me a bunch of legal problems over my son. Looking for someone to a quick investigation via internet to gather info on her and her new husband. Can anyone help?

I don't know much about this subject -- fortunately. I am sorry that you are having this problem.

It's my understanding that the best place to get a PI referral is from your divorce lawyer. PIs market to divorce lawyers in hope of getting referrals.

Not everybody needs a lawyer to get a divorce, especially if you have an amicable, cooperative divorce. But what you describe doesn't sound too amicable. Using the kids as a bargaining chip is a a common, but despicable, practice. If you don't have a lawyer, time to get one. If you do, ask for a PI referral.

ETA: I see now that you refer to her as your EX, so that means you are already divorced. Sorry I did not pick up on that. Still, if you believe she is violating the terms of the divorce agreement, the person to contact is the lawyer who represented you in getting the agreement.

Sorry, it sounds like you're going through some sh*t. I went through a long series of custody battles with my ex, and I understand how completely depleting that can be. Do you mind me asking what kind of legal problems she's giving you?

If you do need a referral for a lawyer, my stepbrother is excellent. I hired him for several court battles with my now ex. I even hired him for consultations for when I decided to represent myself in a particular defense. He's a great guy, and he knows his stuff.

If you haven't already done it Google email addresses phone numbers and full names with variations of middle names/middles initial and maybe a nickname. You would be surprised at the stupidity of some people thinking the internet is private. Also you can run a name through the the county court for any court issues and county assessor's website, all public information.

I've found arrest and court records on girlfriends, potential roommates and people I've had issues with. I found one potential female roommate one time was listed on several escort websites just by a second phone number she had...I be no sugar daddy.
