Post-migration issues

This is the topic to use to bring issues with the migration to my attention. Please only post problems here. ie, that button returns an error, or a link that goes to a 404 page not found, or a permissions issue on something... This is not a thread to post complaints.

I'm not quite sure I understand. You made a new post in this thread.

Are you referring to creating a new topic? If so, in which forum are you unable to do that?

I read in your thread about the new migration that the red Xs are a result of Imgur accounts or pictures that no longer exist,...but that can't be true. My Imgur account is alive and active, yet every single one of my pictures hosted there didn't make it over and only show a red X, including one I posted just minutes ago.

Actually, the problem has resolved itself, and I think I know why. I went into my Imgur account to see if there were any settings I had that may be contributing to the problem. Sure enough, there is a box I was unaware of marked MATURE CONTENT. Thinking that liberal commie basterds might be making the decision that gun photos or pics from war and conflict zones might be "mature content", I clicked on the box, signifying that I wanted my "mature content" to be unfiltered. And now, 30 minutes later, all my old photos are now up and visible.

Need a little more info. Is there a specific forum you're trying to do that in? The "Organized Shoots and Matches" forum? What happens when you try clicking on the "Post thread" button?

Glad you got it! The site software is new to most of us so there is going to be a learning curve, for sure.

However, I see you already figured out the calendar, which is impressive! I thought that would require me to post a "how-to" before anyone would figure it out!

Are the user ratings gone for good? I liked that feature as it was handy to rate who was and wasn't good to deal with.

I plan on adding something eventually, but it will take some work. So that's down the road a bit.

Is there a way to edit posts? I went to edit an ad in classifieds and can't seem to figure out how to do that.

Edit: I see it for this post. Maybe it's not possible with posts that were moved over from the old forum?

Reputation and feedback history gone. Also old PMs. Glitch, or just the way it is?

When I buy or sell stuff, I like to look up the buyer or seller, to see the rep. I also check PMs to remind me if we have done business before.

We have a new REAL feedback system on the new forums now. Feedback thread is there that you can reference, but there was no way to really migrate the "reputation" score from the old site to this one and it was also not based on true feedback - you could simply give someone a reputation point because you felt like it, so everyone starts over with net-zero on feedback - real feedback - here.

PM's were successfully migrated. They are referred to as "DM's" now and are available by clicking the envelope icon next to your name in the top right header: https://www.arizonashooting.org/direct-messages/

I would like to have an image appear next to a classified listing on the header page. I thought I figured it out but instead got a bunch of ATTACH stuff in its place. I tried to just edit the listing header title in my ad but couldn't. Correct way needed. T.I.A.
