I'm that way with ammo, tend to buy it whenever its on sale. We took all the ammo cans out to take inventory and consolidate stuff a couple weeks ago and I found a few cases of 9mm and buckshot I didn't remember buying and then when we were putting everything back, one of the totes that I thought had MREs in it was stuffed full of random ammo that I had forgot to put in cans. When the panic hadn't ramped up yet I was stopping at CAL Ranch pretty much every day to buy ammo and by the end of the week I'd have a bunch of bags in the back seat, would dump those in the tote and start over. Unfortunately I forgot about that tote and kept buying based off what was in the cans

Based on the cans I thought I had finally gotten up to having 2000rds of 9mm, ended up having 4700rds. Thought I had about 300rds of 380ACP and ended up at 900. Bunch of 5.56 in there and other stuff. Was like Christmas for a moment there

Funny how this topic came up. Went to the range couple months back and brought the mc1sc with me to try out. Last week I remembered where in the hell did I put the other magazine? Phuck...I can't find the damn thing. Tore up the house looked on top of the fridge where I usually put extra mags and nothing. Looked behind the fridge and found a fully loaded g17 mag with hollow points....I thought I counted my mags correctly that were in my bug....guess not. While rummaging through the house I found a bunch of loose 9mm rounds everywhere. Ranging from fmj to hollow points. I was able to find another 50 rounds total to add to the stash. I asked the wife if she remembered seeing the extra magazine and she said no.. I do remember giving the gun to her after my shooting trip with the extra mag... I rummage through stuff again and was unsuccessful...I finally thought. Sheit man I know I gave it to her for sure I'm not that senile yet. Decided to look in her closet then effing mutha effer........it was on the shelf of her closet. Wtf. I was having sleepless nights trying to think of where else I would have placed it.....so there it is, I knew I wasn't going crazy

Recently i was sucked in by the lamenting online concerning the lack of 5.45 x 39 chambered AK's especially the Arsenal SLR-104FR. I started looking in earnest for one online but much to my chagrin they were selling at 2K plus and i just couldn't justify it. So i kind of forgot about it. Then one day i was looking in the safe for something and saw a plastic bag with a rifle in it. Pulled it out and yep you guessed it a shiny brand new SLR-104FR i bought probably 6 or 7 years ago when they were less than 1000.00 apparently i was thinking ahead while internet shopping and drinking rum and cokes.....

PSA had some stainless barreled AR uppers on sale a year or two ago. Figuring I could always use another, I bought two. When they came in I was just gonna stuff them in the safe for a rainy day as usual. Only to find the very same upper already sitting in the back of the safe. Vodka strikes again...

After hearing enough from the ol' about how messy my fun room is, I decided to get abunch of the cases of ammo off the floor and into one of my ammo cabinets.

Pop one open, 25 GEN2 30rd PMAGs, all stuff and ready for the range sitting on the top shelf. Huh...
