I was talking about 223 ammunition with a couple of friends the other day. And while they were arguing about which was best, I brought up a vague memory from years ago of some multi colored, plastic cased 223 ammunition.

They don't remember it and I haven't found anything online except for military & caseless stuff.
Anyone remember the stuff?

Yeah....but I think it was all pretty much testing it out. Dang....that's a few years back and reloaders weren't all that excited about it.

I had some of that stuff, it shot decent. Just nothing to do with the cases afterwards. So into the recycle bin they went.

I can see the meth heads taking the brass part of it off so they can scrap it.

Why can't they produce this type of ammo cheap enough that shooters would flock to it and buy it up in mass??

Tried this stuff about 6 years ago and seemed not bad-not great, but I was told some was blowing up?

Dillion did some testing on this stuff in mini guns.

Looks like the polymer could be interesting.
I know I used a bit of the multicolored ammo but have absolutely no memory of how well it worked.
