Lot to agree with in above comments, problem is ass holes leave the shotgun hulls, and steel casings, I've gotten to the point, that i say something to all the assholes, they wanna have a go so be it, its my back yard, and well, i like my back yard clean of crap that didn's grow there.

we have clean ups on our monthly shoots, i've even taken my dump trailer up a few times and cleaned up shiat from assholes, i dont get the mentality of bringing something that doesn't belong, destroy it in pieces and then walk off and leave it. Idiots and i call them on it, as do most of my fellow shooters, not unusal for us to provide a rack, shovel, and trash bags with cans so they can do their own pick up. hehe, some hate it, but shaming them into doing it, is so much more fun.

happy thursday

Anyone know if the fire restriction has been lifted yet for the Table Mesa Road area? I tried to check online and it appears that it has been. I havent been out desert shooting in over a year now so any info would be great!

I visited Rio Salado and Ben Avery last week prepping for a match.

Rio Salado was interesting to say the least, lots of rules and RO's at that place. Not likely to go back unless there is a match

Ben Avery was better, still pretty slow paced with far to many stoppages, but much more efficient and enjoyable. I will likely do my 100y development and zeroing there in the future.

Yes, Cowtown is open. Private membership range. About $420a year plus $'s for range safety class.

YIKES, $420
Shooters World is $300 and you get free gun rental, unlimited time, lane reservations, 5% off everything in the store, and class discounts(many different kinds.)
There's a couple other things I'm not remembering currently...

Join a squad at C2 Tactical, membership is good in both Tempe and Scottsdale, free gun rentals, unlimited time, lane reservations, 10% off most everything and I believe, but am not sure about class discounts.

$149.20/year per person.

Well that sounds nice.
We need a range out west.
I’ve heard from some that the new C2 is nice.
Didn’t even know they had a new one

just pack out your crap, the brass whores will take care of the rest

Yup, agreed,... only thing better is my pistol range, out my back door,... and , my rifle range on my back 30 acre horse pasture. :D

I remember the days of traveling to my favorite desert spots, after trying Ben Avery a few times,...
don't miss it at all!

The wash about a mile from here is where I go. It's kinda funny how when you live in the city and you here gunshots you wonder what's going down. I hear shots nearby and just hope they are shooting into the bank and not in my direction.

This is also a great place to go shooting just south Picacho Peak. BLM has signs up telling you to pick up your brass lots of little fingers that shoot out from this hill create a natural shooting ranges. And no range master and FREE paid by your tax dollar. https://goo.gl/maps/xwL2iTiH6SBmzDZHA
