It is worse than that. According to this attorney it only applies to the plaintiff (Mock) in the Mock v. Garland case. For more info:

There is a new weird legal twist to the pistol brace ruling. Apparently if you are a member of the Firearm Policy Coalition (FPC) you are are covered by the ruling. It seems screwy but it is what it is.

Yes, in another case a federal judge blocks ATF pistol brace rule in the lawsuit brought by GOA.

Judge Tipton’s injunction applies to individuals that are directly employed by the state of Texas, its agencies and all members of the Gun Owners of America (GOA).

What pisses me off more than anything is that he ATF is allowed to issue new rules, willy nilly, any time it wants (and using your taxpayer dollars) that can make you a felon. In order to challenge these rules, we the people have to pay for lawyers and go through long, drawn out, and tortuous (and expensive) legal maneuvers to get "justice" (whatever that is in the crooked legal system). When we do get a "victory" it is only partial relief from the ATF rules. The ATF will continue to use your taxpayer dollars to challenge these and other rulings in their anti-gun crusade.

Meanwhile, the anti-gun ATF bureaucrats can simply issue new rules on a whim that have to be dealt with in their byzantine legal quagmire.

You will never get “justice” from the federal government. They have more money than any other entity in the universe, and they will use every penny of it against you. The ONLY way you win is if they feel they can’t make a good enough case on their main charges, they have already run you out of money, you sold your house, your wife divorced you and your family moved away, then they will offer you a deal on lesser charges.
