The thing I dont get is ... where was their personal security? No not where were the appointed guards for Nancy Pelosi. I dig it .. she wasnt there and they go with her but ..

When I had my home in Laveen and the one I owned in Queens .. I had every window wired, had the doors wired and had a motion sensor or two with home monitoring. On the off chance that I set off the alarm to let the dog out an ADT person would call pretty damn fast if I didnt cancel it.

The wind blew my partially closed door open in Laveen .. just didnt close it well enough. ADT called, I said Im not home and cops were there in minutes. You telling me a multimillion dollar home of the Speaker of the house and you can just smash the back door glass and wander in.

Something still smells like shit.

While I agree the story and the current cover stinks.

My personal take is, I believe they wish to conceal any monitoring to a source which can be controlled and limited in its released documentation of any event. As is being played out now. Not necessarily the most proactive monitoring crew regarding safety. Clearly a more effective security method and team is available for a fraction of the cost which is currently employed....government hired minions. Can you imagine the recorded events which have been ignored over the years with this bunch?
